Earlier Morning

Another healing crisis surfaced this morning. It was such a small one in comparison of others. The detox is rising higher and higher inside my body. I am fascinated with that aspect. The purification effects showing in the body is from bottom up. I thought it would happen the other way around.

I was awake earlier and felt more energy. Didn't want to go back to sleep. Gave myself a wee energy treatment and shone into a rise.

11:30 AM a large grapefruit, pistachios and bee pollen went down like a piece of heaven.

1:28 PM a macaroon

1:45 PM I cut up two mango and froze them into an ice cube tray for sorbet. After cleaning the stone best I could with a knife and spoon, I nibbled the two stones clean. Great tasting mango!

4:14 PM was heading on an errand so took along a pear and some tahini. That makes a nice combo. I do ultimate best with bosc pears over all I have tried.

5:30 PM some grapes…. ouch with those; my pancreas objected with a burning feeling. First time I have felt my pancreas object about something. My body briefly heated with healing heat.

6:00 PM and it felt like time for supper. Tonight I peeled zucchini into strips that liken fettuccini pasta and mixed in the remaining marinara sauce from last night. Added a couple of tunaish from the freezer topped with red onion and voila… another tasty meal. I ate the remaining macaroon after dinner. It is 10:41 PM now and I still feel satisfied as I sip a glass of fresh lemon aide. I don't sweeten lemon aide. I love the sour taste ever since eating raw/living.

So the rejuvelac, I am off to a bad start. It didn't smell so nice when I drained off the first batch. I am following Anne Wigmores book and also a video on youtube. There is a discrepancy in the two although the fellow in the video is following Wigmores method as well, same food prep book in fact. hmmmmm. I tasted it and it was ok, too much of a dilution but the taste was not like the smell. I put a couple of bottles in the fridge and added less water this time to the sprouted oat berries. If I don't have an adverse reaction tonight I figure the rejuvelac will be good to make cheese with. Or I may start anew and perfect it a bit more before moving to cheese making. I have done this back in the 80's and it worked fine. Till Tomorrow, tata!!

Blessing Bowl

In the morning at 11:03 or something like that, I enjoyed a glass of fresh squeezed lemon in water. What a fine way to greet the day, don't you think? :)

1:35 PM rolled around and hunger flashed a thought for 2 oranges, walnuts and pecans with 1 heaping TBSP of Bee Pollen in a pool of fresh squeezed lemon juice. First bite and wow sparks! Tart lemon against the sweetness of bee pollen… causes surprise zingers. By the way, if you want to eat nuts with fruit, the best combination for digestion is citrus fruit with nuts.

A short time later I felt like 3 brazil nuts... that was it.

3:26 PM brought on 1 macaroon. Can't believe I only had one!

6:00 PM breakfast was 1 large grapefruit with a few pistachios and bee pollen. I need to order more bee pollen. My supplier is in Ontario. She has the best honey and bee pollen I have used to date and her prices are quite reasonable.

Just past 7:00 PM I began preparing supper. What I wanted was marinara sauce on angel hair zucchini spaghetti. By 6:28 PM it was all prepared and ready to eat. Wow, what a really great dish. I ate it with some crackers, avocado and red pepper.

Making Rejuvelac

The rejuvelac is now fermented 24 hours… 24 more hours to go before I can use it. This is an experiment to see the results using oat berries rather than wheat berries. The picture shows the rejuvelac ready for fermentation. I soaked the oat berries over night then proceeded to sprout them for two days. Moving them into a 4 litre jar enabled me to add the nearly 4 litres of water used during the fermentation process.

I used too much water in making the rejuvelac so am cutting back on the next batch. I don't like the smell of this batch of rejuvelac. It doesn't smell 'bad' and can be an odor specific to the oat berries. Make sure the berries you use are actually raw, not steamed.

At 12:28 PM a grapefruit with a sprinkling of pecans and bee pollen.

2:15 PM 4 whole apricots.

Through the day I continued drinking lots of water.

At approx. 4:00 PM with the champion juicer I juiced a concoction that looks like a dark chocolate drink. I am working on fine-tuning making a juice that looks like and tastes like chocolate milk. I am really close to succeeding.

AT 5:57 PM it was a salad comprised of romaine lettuce, mango chutney and falafel sprinkled with red onion. That is such a super combination. The falafel tastes astounding as does the mango chutney.

I still am not able to find the pictures with this application… very odd, everything was going ok until I downloaded Picaso newer version… and I am working from a macpro. Pictures issue is cleared up!

In the picture is me the blogger, who loves tie-dyes! :) Happy munching, eh…

Zucchini Spaghetti Noodles

It was a good morning and feels like it was a long time ago!

Eating started out at 10:00 AM with half a cantaloupe cubed. The fruit was perfectly ripened. What a fine breakfast meal! I chased that dish full with 2 macaroons.

At approx. 1:00 PM I headed out and about with a bottle of water and a hand full of pecans. The pecans are wrapped in a reusable biodegradable sheet using bees wax which is made by an innovative thinking young gal here in Victoria. Her boyfriend hand stitches the edging. What a delight!

At approx. 5:00 PM I returned home and ate 2 oranges dipped in bee pollen and threw in a few walnuts.

An hour later I ate zucchini pasta mixed with red onion, tomato, avocado and tahini dressing, with veggie crackers on the side. I wanted to use up the rest of the tahini dressing. The shelf life is a couple of days over best used by date, yet the sauce is still good. The refrigerator is a good one, perfect humidity and coldness to stretch out food storage. Looks good, eh? The noodles were made with what is called a spiral slicer.

At 7:45 I felt like some fruit so put together a few frozen banana slices, frozen blueberries and a sprinkling of pistachio nuts. It was a small amount and satisfying.

Gorgeous Day!

This morning brought in yet another healing crisis. Every time I experience them and so far in a year there have been half a dozen or more, I feel progress is continuing. The healing crises are not so easy to meet with yet hands on healing certainly is a furiously quick assistant. The results of hands on healing and prayer never cease to amaze me. Tonight I reflect upon this morning and the fear thoughts that rose to the surface. My thoughts have been reframed and now I feel excited with the results I am getting thus far.

It was after noon before I ate anything, which started with 2 large juicy pink grapefruit together with bee pollen and pecans, one after another. Really it was all such a fine taste!

Sushi mid afternoon made from the rest of the sunflower pate, some of the mango chutney and romaine lettuce. While making the sushi I munched on a few green beans dipped in the tahini dressing. The sushi was a super nice tasting combination. It also was a messy combination to put together. Next time a like combo I will stack the ingredients differently for a less sloppy to roll effect.

After being in the sun gardening for a couple of hours I enjoyed an orange and some walnuts. I drank a lot of water today. I returned to gardening and didn't come in until 5 past 8:00 PM. It was tempting to eat some fruit. My decision was it would be best if I gave myself a reflexology treatment following the energy treatment on myself this morning, drink a glass of water while watching something on netflix and call it a night. This I will do as soon as I post today's entry.

It was a Gorgeous Day! It surely felt like a day out of my childhood!

Day of Unusual Hunger

I started feeling very hungry early in the day. Had no enthusiasm to do anything so gardening is put off until tomorrow.

This morning lemon and water it was, again. A tad earlier… more like 10:00 AM after which I munched a handful of pecans and after peeling a large grapefruit that I ate the sections dipped in bee pollen. Pecans are so amazingly delicious! Still on a bee pollen craze and will need to order some from Margaret Rose, in Ontario, soon. Lunch followed at about 2:00 PM. I ate the rest of the salad from 2 days ago with half an avocado added, oh and mixed in some mango chutney which added a whole new taste to the salad. I will definitely recreate that salad! I took no pictures of any of this food, this morning.

A bit later I had 3 cubes of coconut almond cream put through the juicer along with frozen grapes. That combo is very interesting. Added to it a macaroon. I think I ate only one. It was a scrumptious snack.

Hungry again for more which I ate at 7:17 PM. It was seaweed spaghetti, which I softened in warm water and mixed in sundried tomato & olive paste and chopped red onion topped with kosher yeast flakes. That was very filling and a tasty dish as well. Now I am enjoying a cup of Red Clover Blossom Tea and growing very sleepy.

Listen to Your Intuition

All I wanted in the morning was at 11:30 AM-- a large pink grapefruit with bee pollen and walnut halves.

Then it was off to the Moss Street Market where I purchased amongst garden plants, this beautiful edible bouquet. The flowering herbs are a visual aromatic treat before they become part of salad making.

Now here is where I crossed my intuition about what to eat and partially mixed that with 'thinking' I ought to eat up the left over salad from last evening. I really wanted avocado… so I sliced a whole one and added it to the salad that already had a bit of avocado in it. Also sunflower seeds sparingly sprinkled on top with sunflower pate topping the center, were added.

A while later I had a craving for cantaloupe so cut up a half of a fairly large one. I ate the whole half. I was already feeling quite full from the salad and feel strongly had I ate only avocado and cantaloupe, I would have been better off. The meal sent me to sleep for about 15 minutes! I know to listen to intuition, not always do I do it!
