Best feeling upon waking today! :)

11:57 AM broke the overnight fast with a tall glass of water. mmmmmm then had a bowl of a orange pieces(WOW the orange taste!), bee pollen and walnut halves covered in fresh squeezed orange juice.

3:18 PM I was out and about and stopped in Bliss Cafe for a hot chai tea with a Bliss Ball. I forgot to take a photo right off and then when I remembered I took along my camera in case I went to the Cafe, I had eaten most of the Bliss Ball and had drank most of my tea. ooops it looks more like a crumb with a shadow now.

4:30 PM a hand full of pistachios, to be shelled and eaten

6:13 PM 1/2 half of a small avocado and some red onion. The onion drew on my energy. I have noticed this in the past, a lot.

7:12 PM Salad, whoa… large and tasty! Romaine, avocado, tomato, red onion, mango, watercress, celery, shelled whole hemp seed, Himalayan salt, black pepper, avocado oil, topped with 2 falafel! I ate it all… certainly didn't feel hungry for the rest of the night and I forgot to eat the crackers I thought I wanted to eat.

I seem to be eating a lot of food and am being mindful about the reason I am eating. It is not always for what I grew up identifying hunger by. Currently I am reassessing what means hunger. How do I know I am hungry? I don't really know.

For years and years I started my mornings with 4 and 1/2 glasses of water, at least, drinking much more during the day. I felt something was missing like brushing my teeth if I didn't drink the water. When I started raw eating I didn't feel like all that much water. Lately though I have been drinking more again, especially in the morning.

On and off throughout 25 plus years I did skin brushing, light strokes with a dry brush working up the bodies limbs first, brushing toward the heart, short strokes. I loved the feeling and stopped about year ago. It is powerful lymph drainage assistance. Of late I have been finishing with hot/cool showers in my morning shower. That too is a fabulous lymph stimulator. I was pleasantly surprised with how my lymph’s responded to both techniques. With the mercury detox at times I have felt a need to take unda drainage remedies to open the elimination routes that became plugged with an overload of heavy metal detox trying to leave the body.

Progression to Health

During the last year the healing points I have experienced have been numerous. They started out feeling deadly to me. Literally I felt like my body would die. I have been using my hands to assist healing, as in hands on healing, since back in early 80's after I encountered spontaneous energy transference between another and me. The experience is published as a story in 'Conscious Woman Conscious Careers' edited by: Darlene Montgomery. During my healing points hands on healing has helped immensely. Through the last 20 plus years I have worked a lot on myself to promote my own healing. The experiences have been profound and exciting.

This past week I have experienced '3' healing points. Initially there were weeks in between and the healing would keep me in bed with doing a self-treatment before rising. These last 3 have been a breeze. I gave only one brief hands on exchange with my body during one of them.

Each time the pathway of healing has shortened as the areas of unhealth in my body have been cleared. That I find interesting as well. My whole healing journey is much more involved than this segment and all of it has taught me a lot about learning to help others, in a way I can pass on to others so they can learn to help themselves and each other. I am interested in and excited to learn to put my experiences together and help those who seek to help themselves. This has been a intuitively guided journey coupled with expertise learned through advanced education and other professionals, working with many clients and I have taken many years to experiment with myself.

This marker in my life has been a long time coming. Feels like a new energy has come in overnight and I am keen to witness where this leads and what becomes of it.

Healing point = my words for healing crisis. I might change the phrase again or return to using healing crisis. That point in healing certainly can feel like a crisis!

Comment Feature Is Enabled Now!

Today was an odd out of sort’s food day for me. I didn't feel like making a veggie meal aside from a veggie & fruit juice.

I didn't pay attention to time other than what part of the day I ate. Starting in very late morning I had a large grapefruit sectioned, walnut halves, bee pollen and a few pecans.

Early afternoon I had a bosc pear and sesame tahini. I love that combo.

Later in early afternoon I juiced a few veggies and fruits and made a big deal about how wonderful it tasted. I used carrots, beets, kale, orange, apple, cucumber, and celery and ate a few pecans with it. It looked like a rainbow juice. See the lovely rainbow effect in the froth.

In the evening I wasn't hungry however, at 7:55 PM I got hungry! I had real hunger noises and vibrations stirring up a fuss in my intestines, a true organ recital. I decided to eat after 8:00 PM for this evening. I have been faithfully sticking to the eating cut off at 8:00 PM. Now it will be a challenge to see if this off schedule night beckons me to nightly eating or if I will easily resume the schedule.

What I ate was frozen fruit through the juicer. I made not intentionally, another rainbow dish of: a bit of banana, strawberries, a few grapes, mango and a couple of cubes of coconut almond cream. It was perfect. I wanted nothing more. :)

The picture shows a deer friend who comes to graze in the yard every day now, sometimes frequently throughout the day. That was a beautiful Echinacea plant he munched away. Today I caught him in action. Yesterday he was outside my bedroom door and only looked up at me when I pulled out the camera. Today after taking this picture I opened the door and he scampered across the yard. I did call to him that he is not to eat garden plants.

Keeping it Simple

Energy today is even better than yesterday! I love this improvement by the day. I like how I feel with rejuvelac as well. Gosh, rejuvelac provides a really gentle and strong force! That good old 'Force of Nature'. :)

1:59 AM Started my day with a dish of kiwi, peach and bee pollen. Most often I don't know what I will be eating until I go to the kitchen and start to prepare. And a lot of what I prepare is made up on the moment like this combo of fruit and bee pollen. Delicious!

I ate 3 walnut halves when I removed the tray from the dehydrator. So far I have been jotting down 'everything' I eat. I am not being guided by the voice that says, 'that's lame Deborah'!

11:39 AM An OH WOW drink. 1/2 a cantaloupe scooped out and blended with 1 cube of the coconut almond cream with a lacey sprinkling of desiccated coconut on top.

2:11 PM 1 large grapefruit, a few large walnut halves, a tbsp of bee pollen and a glass of lemon juice, rejuvelac and water mixed. I ate this on the back patio in the sun while I watched the many dragonflies zoom about. Wow they are giant size dragonflies. I love it when they fly really close over my head.

6:30 PM I ate a bosc pear with some sesame tahini while I prepared supper.

7:27 PM The salad which is comprised of purple Russian kale, black kale, romaine, tomato, celery, red onion, zucchini, avocado, cucumber, water cress, Himalayan salt, blk pepper, avocado oil, and whole shelled hemp seed. Par Excellent!!

Tonight it feels like I may have to slow this detox down a tad and have more veggies tomorrow than fruit so it might be a good day for veggie juice.

This evening I drank another glass of the lemon juice, rejuvelac and water combination.

Earlier Morning

Another healing crisis surfaced this morning. It was such a small one in comparison of others. The detox is rising higher and higher inside my body. I am fascinated with that aspect. The purification effects showing in the body is from bottom up. I thought it would happen the other way around.

I was awake earlier and felt more energy. Didn't want to go back to sleep. Gave myself a wee energy treatment and shone into a rise.

11:30 AM a large grapefruit, pistachios and bee pollen went down like a piece of heaven.

1:28 PM a macaroon

1:45 PM I cut up two mango and froze them into an ice cube tray for sorbet. After cleaning the stone best I could with a knife and spoon, I nibbled the two stones clean. Great tasting mango!

4:14 PM was heading on an errand so took along a pear and some tahini. That makes a nice combo. I do ultimate best with bosc pears over all I have tried.

5:30 PM some grapes…. ouch with those; my pancreas objected with a burning feeling. First time I have felt my pancreas object about something. My body briefly heated with healing heat.

6:00 PM and it felt like time for supper. Tonight I peeled zucchini into strips that liken fettuccini pasta and mixed in the remaining marinara sauce from last night. Added a couple of tunaish from the freezer topped with red onion and voila… another tasty meal. I ate the remaining macaroon after dinner. It is 10:41 PM now and I still feel satisfied as I sip a glass of fresh lemon aide. I don't sweeten lemon aide. I love the sour taste ever since eating raw/living.

So the rejuvelac, I am off to a bad start. It didn't smell so nice when I drained off the first batch. I am following Anne Wigmores book and also a video on youtube. There is a discrepancy in the two although the fellow in the video is following Wigmores method as well, same food prep book in fact. hmmmmm. I tasted it and it was ok, too much of a dilution but the taste was not like the smell. I put a couple of bottles in the fridge and added less water this time to the sprouted oat berries. If I don't have an adverse reaction tonight I figure the rejuvelac will be good to make cheese with. Or I may start anew and perfect it a bit more before moving to cheese making. I have done this back in the 80's and it worked fine. Till Tomorrow, tata!!

Blessing Bowl

In the morning at 11:03 or something like that, I enjoyed a glass of fresh squeezed lemon in water. What a fine way to greet the day, don't you think? :)

1:35 PM rolled around and hunger flashed a thought for 2 oranges, walnuts and pecans with 1 heaping TBSP of Bee Pollen in a pool of fresh squeezed lemon juice. First bite and wow sparks! Tart lemon against the sweetness of bee pollen… causes surprise zingers. By the way, if you want to eat nuts with fruit, the best combination for digestion is citrus fruit with nuts.

A short time later I felt like 3 brazil nuts... that was it.

3:26 PM brought on 1 macaroon. Can't believe I only had one!

6:00 PM breakfast was 1 large grapefruit with a few pistachios and bee pollen. I need to order more bee pollen. My supplier is in Ontario. She has the best honey and bee pollen I have used to date and her prices are quite reasonable.

Just past 7:00 PM I began preparing supper. What I wanted was marinara sauce on angel hair zucchini spaghetti. By 6:28 PM it was all prepared and ready to eat. Wow, what a really great dish. I ate it with some crackers, avocado and red pepper.

Making Rejuvelac

The rejuvelac is now fermented 24 hours… 24 more hours to go before I can use it. This is an experiment to see the results using oat berries rather than wheat berries. The picture shows the rejuvelac ready for fermentation. I soaked the oat berries over night then proceeded to sprout them for two days. Moving them into a 4 litre jar enabled me to add the nearly 4 litres of water used during the fermentation process.

I used too much water in making the rejuvelac so am cutting back on the next batch. I don't like the smell of this batch of rejuvelac. It doesn't smell 'bad' and can be an odor specific to the oat berries. Make sure the berries you use are actually raw, not steamed.

At 12:28 PM a grapefruit with a sprinkling of pecans and bee pollen.

2:15 PM 4 whole apricots.

Through the day I continued drinking lots of water.

At approx. 4:00 PM with the champion juicer I juiced a concoction that looks like a dark chocolate drink. I am working on fine-tuning making a juice that looks like and tastes like chocolate milk. I am really close to succeeding.

AT 5:57 PM it was a salad comprised of romaine lettuce, mango chutney and falafel sprinkled with red onion. That is such a super combination. The falafel tastes astounding as does the mango chutney.

I still am not able to find the pictures with this application… very odd, everything was going ok until I downloaded Picaso newer version… and I am working from a macpro. Pictures issue is cleared up!

In the picture is me the blogger, who loves tie-dyes! :) Happy munching, eh…
